BELLE MEADE CENTRE :: Retail and Office Space

Belle Meade Centre is the commercial component of a 60-acre mixed-use development located off of Highway 421, one mile north of Monkey Junction, in New Hanover County, NC. The property is conveniently situated with easy access to downtown Wilmington, Oleander Drive, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and Carolina Beach. This 12.5-acre node, and its 9.0-acre adjoining tract (being marketed separately and not currently under option by Atlantis Holdings), was successfully zoned CD-B1 in December 2005 by Atlantis Holdings as part of a comprehensive mixed-use master plan. The 12.5-acre tract offers 154,000 square feet of retail and office space. When combined with the adjoining future development area (denoted as Area B, future development), the total approved square footage exceeds 290,000.

Belle Meade provides optimal interconnectivity by joining Highways 421 and 132 via Pine Hollow Drive extension and Matteo Drive at the intersection of Silva Terra Drive and Highway 421. Further interconnectivity is provided by the Sikes Drive extension linking the project to Saint Andrews Drive. Ultimately, the completion of the horizontal infrastructure (current expected completion date of June 2007) will provide thousands of rooftops in adjoining communities direct access to a large variety of goods and services provided by Belle Meade (see table of permitted uses). As important, is the internal capture of hundreds of residents with homes having access to Pine Hollow Drive who currently have to travel to other nodes for goods and services.
