STRUCTURAL DESIGN

The vision for Belle Meade Centre is one of an upscale neighborhood center with an open-air market feel. Building fronts are designed to face each other. Office space is provided above the storefronts. In keeping with the design of Belle Meade Plantation, low country styling with porches and pedestrian activity abounds (see rendition of building and master plan). Sidewalks are everywhere within the center, inviting those who reside adjacent to the center to walk or ride their bikes to their shopping or work destination. For those who need to drive, ample parking is provided and buildings are spaced so that most are within convenient walking distance from the parking lot. The center design allows for open green space as well for aesthetics and appeal. The populace in the area would be given opportunity to shop, work, live and relax within their own neighborhood.
